Mainstreet Investments builds and operates rapid recovery centers, healthcarefacilities for the rapid recovery of patients after surgery. Rapid recovery centers enableshorter hospital stays, faster patient recovery, fewer hospital readmissions, and betterpatient outcomes, including fewer hospital-acquired infections. But hospitals can be slow to change their patient care processes, unless there is significant financial valueto change.
Project:
Quantify the value to a hospital of discharging some of their patients to a rapidrecovery center. Show that quantification in a way that illustrates both the sources of valueand the uses of value for the hospital.
